” The Rohingya Community has fallen down from the sky to the earth”
Have you ever heard that there is a community in the whole world which has no
nation? I have never heard that there is a community in the world which has no
nation.
But according to the Government and some racists of Burma, there is a
community which has no nation is Rohingya community which have been living in
the Arakan state of Burma for many centuries according to the history. They say
that the Rohingya community which have been living in the Arakan state of
Burma is from Bangladesh not from Burma. When we look the history of Rohingya
community, we can clearly know that this Rohingya community is not from
Bangladesh but from Burma because this community have been living in the Arakan
state of Burma for many centuries according to the history.
However, I want to ask some questions to the Government of Burma and those
racists who allege that the Rohingya community has no nation and this community
is from Bangladesh, not from Burma. I can ask several questions against the
allegation to the Rohingya community but I will ask only a few questions here
are: (1) Why do you say that this Rohingya community has no nation, this
community is from Bangladesh not from Burma while the history proves that the
Rohingya community have been living in the Arakan state of Burma for many
centuries? Do you judge the citizenship or nationality of a community with
history or religion whether it is a citizen of a country or not? (2) If the
Rohingya community has migrated from Bangladesh to Burma, if they go to
Bangladesh as refugees because of your persecution inside Burma, why do you have
to call these Bangladeshi Rohingyas back to Burma when Bangladesh Government
repatriates them? Why don’t you reject to call them back to Burma? (3) Why do
you allow these Bangladeshi Rohingyas to stand in elections and to take up
seats in the parliament? Does your constitution allow foreigners to stand in
the elections and to take up seats in the parliament?
Thus, on regarding the history and the facts I mentioned above, we can
clearly understand that the Rohingya community is not from Bangladesh but from
Burma. I want to clear one very important thing here is: naturally, this
Rohingya community must be either from Burma or Bangladesh. This community
could not fall down from the sky to the earth. Because Burmese Government says
that this community is not from my country and Bangladesh Government also
doesn’t accept this community. Has this community unnaturally fallen down
from the sky to the earth? So, Burmese Government should better talk with
Bangladesh Government about this Rohingya community to restore them to
Bangladesh than alleging them that they not from Burma but from Bangladesh. The
way Burmese Government is alleging the Rohingya community instead of
compromising with Bangladesh Government to restore them to Bangladesh is not
fair.
Therefore, Burmese Government should restore this community to Bangladesh
Government if they are really from Bangladesh. If not, Burmese Government should
stop such allegation against this community, and should give them their birth
right which is called citizenship or nationality.
